MINEHEAD SAMBA BAND
is a brand new community music project for Minehead launching January 2026. For adults and children including families.

You don't need to be able to play a drum or anything like that - no experience required - just enjoy the fun of group rhythm making in this wonderful South American tradition, so popular worldwide.

 

 

 

BEGINNINGS
We will start by keeping things simple and find our feet over a few months and all being well look to do something in the summer in the town. Just keep it fun and easy to begin with and then go from there.

This is an independent community music project with no funding from any third party.

£5-Adults   £3-Children*   £10-Families


* Children who are keen to learn are welcome. Anyone fourteen or under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Please note there is quite a lot of learning involved which takes time, concentration and a little patience :)
